Third time around, I almost completely scrapped the stuff I’d played at the previous two Holy Bible gigs (only a handful of songs survive), stopped trying to be clever with it, and went for the jugular by playing popular tunes from my various club nights (Stay Beautiful, Spellbound). Partly to avoid boringness for my own sake, but also because I was very aware that the hardcore fan contingent at the barrier were going to all the gigs and I didn’t want it to get repetitive for them.
